I think that strong men with absolute power are a threat but at the very least they have some element of personal responsibility, and if a nation were turned upside down and the lives of its citizens made fundamentally and obviously worse, then they are responsible. That leader.


Weak men with absolute power are vastly more dangerous than strong men because they can pass the buck and absolve themselves of personal responsibility when called out by an angry public... they can cry out that it was ultimately the personal choices of the masses. They didn't enforce anything on the masses... it was their own doings!
